Not many know that the first schedule of 'Guntur Kaaram' was filmed in 2022. It was a heavy-duty action schedule helmed by 'Leo' and 'KGF' fight masters AnbAriv. In a twist of sorts, the action bloc was done away with, the script was reworked, and the shoot of the film was relaunched in 2023.
Allegedly, the abandoned episode costed producer S Radha Krishna (Chinababu) a whopping Rs 7 Cr. The makers don't want the hard work spent and the money expended on the schedule to go to waste. They are planning to put out the whole episode on YouTube.
Had 'Guntur Kaaram' become a universally-loved film, this YouTube release would have been extraordinary. It won't receive the hype it deserves in the absence of a sustained interest in the Trivikram directorial, which is slated to stream on Netflix in the middle of February.
Recently, the makers of the Sankranthi release claimed that the film made Rs 212 Cr in its first weekend at the box-office.
