In a viral video clip, a woman is seen losing balance and behaving as though she was undergoing a major mental issue while watching the climax of 'HanuMan' in a theatre in Uppal, Hyderabad. Several social media handles have claimed that the woman was experiencing devotional fervour while watching the the climax song on Lord Hanuman. Her behaviour, some folks have theorized, is attributable to what happens during intense rituals held in villages across India.
However, another theory has been floating around allegedly by those in the know. The woman experienced seizures purely due to a health-related issue and that her behaviour had nothing to do with any overwhelming religious feelings. It is said that she was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
'HanuMan', directed by Prasanth Varma and starring Teja Sajja in the lead, has grossed about Rs 280 Cr in theatres. Produced by K Niranjan Reddy, it is the biggest Sankranthi hit of the year. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai, Samuthirakani and others are part of the cast. Its background music is by Gowra Hari.
